A report on last month's Illinois Association of School Boards meeting was in this week's Monday's Pub.

Found it interesting that the members rejected a resolution calling for an outright ban on teacher strikes. Progressive delegates said they voted to reject the proposal "out of concern for the many school boards that have worked hard to cultivate a positive working relationship with their teachers' union."
