CAT Tracks Editor's Note: This post was updated on January 23rd to include pictures from the front page of The Cairo Citizen.
Please excuse the "rumpled" appearance of the pictures. There was an apparent problem with mail delivery on Thursday...a rainy day in Cairo town. Residents in my "hood" found their mail in the condition of a wet cat. "Drying time" delayed this update.

Firefighters respond to another house fire in Cairo

CAIRO, IL (KFVS) - Crews were on the scene of a house fire on the corner of Sycamore and 33rd Street into the late evening hours Sunday night.
The Cairo Fire Department tells Heartland News they aren't sure if the home is occupied and they don't know what caused the fire.
A viewer near the scene says the home is near the old Sonic building.
A Cairo Police Department dispatcher says no one was hurt in this fire.
