The Cairo Board of Education held a Special Meeting on Thursday, April 29th, at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of School Board Reorganization.

CAT President's Report:
BOE Members Present: Stubblefield, Coleman, Gooden, Nelson, Moore, and Harris. (McAllister arrived at 5:40 p.m.) Also present were Financial Director Blake and Superintendent Rice.
The oath of office was administered to the new BOE members: Incumbents Mary Coleman, Rodney Moore, Sheila Nelson and newly elected member, Steven Tarver.
The newly elected officers are:

President: Sheila Nelson
Vice President: Kevin McAllister
Secretary: Rodney Moore
Treasurer: Mary Coleman
The regular monthly meeting of the Cairo Board of Education will continue to be the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
The BOE voted to adjourn at 6:06 p.m.
