CAT Tracks for October 26, 2021 ITEMS OF LOCAL INTEREST IN MONDAY'S PUB

My former Government students will be ashamed of me...

...when I confess that I don't watch news on TV anymore, only skimming headlines on my computer, reading very few.

In my defense, our former disgrace of a president is the cause, the fact that the media refuses to let him "die" and let him go away, insisting on giving him oxygen every chance they get.

The same goes for our weekly Monday's Pub. I flip through the pages quickly, pausing only at the obituaries to make sure that I didn't die and forget to lay down. So, I was not surprised when a friend texted me about the first article below, that I had totally missed it. In case you did the same, or don't get the Pub, I have posted it for you.

However, the second posting is just sad. I looked for it...twice. After reading the first article, I asked my informative friend if she had seen/heard anything about Cairo's Trick or Treat. In less than a minute, she texted back: "Page 2 bottom".

Sure glad that nobody ever gives me current events quizzes! :-)
