The Cairo Board of Education held a Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 17th, at 6 p.m.

CAT President's Report:
Call to order at 6:00 p.m.
Members present: Coleman, Stubblefield, McAllister, Nelson, and Harris. (Moore arrived at 6:10 p.m.) Superintendent Rice was also present.
#2. No examples of excellence.
#3. No comments from public.
#4. Approved consent agenda.
#5. Superintendent's report.
- Ronnie Woods had to reschedule.
- Potential Phase ll project from RFP'S - Several rehabilitation projects. Tim King, consultant for finance bonds, spoke.
- Grow Your Own Teachers Program - Education to Career Pathways. State program. Several districts in Southern Illinois will form a consortium to establish clubs for students interested in becoming Teachers.
The BOE voted to enter Closed session at 6:25 p.m.
The BOE voted to exit Closed Session at 7:05 p.m.
Approved all items 1-5.
The BOE voted to adjourn at 7:15 p.m.
