CAT President's Report:

Called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present: McAllister, Nelson, Moore, Harris, and Tarver. Also present were Finance Director Blake and Superintendent Rice.

No Examples of excellence

Joe Griggs, Chairman of the Alexander County Board, was present to address the board about taxing bodies in the city paying their fair share.

Jamie Green was present to address the board representing Arrowleaf, a youth advisory council that will be working with the school.

Approved the Consent Agenda.

#5 Informational: All items were discussed.

The BOE voted to enter closed session at 6:45p.m.

The BOE voted to exit closed session at 7:40 p.m.

#1 No resignations.

#2 Hirings:

a. Mark Cope as CES teacher.

b. Jamal Jones as CES Special Education teacher.

Approved Items #3-7.

The BOE voted to adjourn at 7:53 p.m.
