The Cairo Board of Education held two meetings on Monday, November 13th.
The first was a Special Meeting at 2 p.m. The second was a Regular Meeting at 6 p.m.

CAT President's Report:
Called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Members present: Stubblefield, Howard, Coleman, Taylor, Mattews, Tarver, and Nelson. Also present were Superintendent Ferrell and Cross.
Ms. Nelson and Ms. Graham gave examples of excellence. Jr. Pilots and Pilots of the month were given.
#3 Maria Watkins asked some questions about the basketball game in Indiana in January.

#5 Superintendent gave a brief overview of 1-5.
Items 1,2,4 under closed session were discussed.
Went into closed session at 7:35 p.m.
Out of closed session at 10:00 p.m.

Item # 10 - hired-Rodney Mills.
Item #11 - hired-Anthony Thomas.
Item #12 - hired- Alvin Wiggins.

CAT has not been provided the tentative minutes for any BOE meetings since August. I even went the the District's website, but they have not posted minutes since April. If they are ever provided, they will be posted.
