The Cairo Board of Education held a Regular Meeting on Thursday, June 20th, at 6:00 p.m. Immediately prior to this meeting (at 5:30 p.m.), the BOE conducted a Public Hearing on the Amended Budget for the 2023-2024 School Year.

CAT President's Report:
Public Hearing called to order at 5:30 p.m.
Members present: Stubblefield, Coleman, Taylor, Matthews, Tarver, and Nelson. Superintendent Ferrell and Secretary Cross were also present.
A review of the budget was discussed with Justin Miller (by phone) giving information. Several questions were addressed.
Adjourned at 5:57 p.m.

Members present: Stubblefield, Coleman, Nelson, Taylor, Matthews, and Tarver. Superintendent Ferrell, and Secretary Cross were also present.

Item 3 - Maria Watkins addressed the Summer Jam that is being held on Wednesdays. She inquired about the fee that has to be paid for use of the facility.
