Your local association - the Cairo Association of Teachers (CAT) - has a solid record of supporting and defending its members. CAT President De De O'Shea is THE first line of defense in matters affecting your employment in Cairo School District Number One. If a problem arises, contact De De. If she can't handle it personally, which she often does, then she will put you in touch with the resources of the IEA. You are not alone when you become a member of the CAT-IEA-NEA.
