Dear Parents and Guardians,

Due to the inclement weather and cold temperatures, we will have an E-Learning Day tomorrow Monday, January 6, 2025. All students are to log into their google classrooms by 9:30am. Info to assist you with chrome book usage and utilizing google classrooms can be found on the district website. Please stay safe and warm.

Subject: Emergency School Day

Good Evening All,

I was notified by the regional superintendent this evening via email that our E-Learning plan has expired. The plan on file with the ROE was adopted on September 21st of 2021. Therefore, it expired in June of 2024. The board must hold a hearing at our next regular board meeting to adopt a new plan. Therefore, the E-Learning day that was designated for January 6, 2025 will have to be reclassified as one of our emergency school days. Until we adopt a new plan, we can only utilize our emergency days. Students are not required to actively participate in on-line learning during these days. I’m sorry for the confusion, I was unaware that our plan had lapsed. We will get the new messaging out to students and families as soon as possible on reclassifying the day.
