CAT Tracks for October 31, 2009 CSD HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST

And the winners are...

In the "Regal Category":

In this category of competition, our winner had points deducted for his disheveled appearance...his regal robe totally askew. The judges did not buy into his lame attempt at an explanation...that his robe was intentionally worn in catty-cornered fashion.

However, just one look at his noble visage, well, there was unanimous agreement...the winner, paws down!

In our "Reality Category", there was no question of the winner. In fact, judges were seen adding zeroes to the "Purrfect 10" cards they held up in response to his appearance.

However, it should be noted that his victory was not without controversy...

In fact, security guards were called in to try to calm members of the audience who were very vocal in their catcalls...the most popular being a continuous chant of "Where's the costume?", "Where's the costume?", "Where's the costume?" ...

When the guards were unsuccessful in their attempts to restore order, the judges huddled. After several minutes, one of the judges tentatively stepped forward to offer their explanation. His words were brief but to the point...

"Look folks...ya gotta admit, this is some scary sh*t."

This announcement was met with a chorus of "MEOWs". (For those of you who do not speak CATonese, MEOW, in this context, means AMEN!)
