Sorry for the "screaming" at the end of my counting session. I'm trying desperately to calm myself and preserve my tenuous self-imposed holiday cease fire.

I stole my exclamation from an old Steve Martin movie - "The Jerk"...the movie where Steve (as Navin R. Johnson) was "raised a poor black child", went on to earn a fortune by inventing the "opti-grab" (eyeglass handle), and then had to pay millions in a class-action lawsuit when the users thereof went cross-eyed. One scene had Navin writing the settlement checks...screaming the number of "cents" like that was more important/insulting than the number of dollars.

Hey, I'm R-E-A-C-H-I-N-G...for something, anything to lighten my mood.

Don't even ask why "The Jerk(s)" would enter my mind at a time like this! I'm trying to be nice...

Yesterday, I posted "This Is A Test"...not knowing that the FINAL EFFING EXAM would be handed to me at last night's meeting of the Cairo Board of Education!

Getting a copy of the latest CSD "bill listing"...well, these are the times that try CAT's souls!

With only a friendly reminded that "Robbers All" is the law firm assisting Cairo School District Number One in its persecution of James Gibson - insuring that he never works another day in his life - regardless of how much it costs the "financially challenged" school district...well, just glance at the bottom entry on this page of the CSD "Open Accounts Payable List", approved without question at last night's BOE meeting.

Ooooooooh, I hope Santa didn't hear what you just said!
$39,115.37...on top of the $14,585.39 they raked in during the previous month! A total of $53,700.76 for TWO EFFING MONTHS!! Yes...more money than James Gibson would have made if he had worked for an entire year for Cairo School District Number One!!!
Do I need to editorialize further? Do I need to further heighten your emotion???
I didn't think so...
So, I shall simply close this edition of CAT Tracks with a holiday exclamation...an enhanced spelling of Santa's traditional invocation of "Ho, Ho, Ho!"
