The Cairo Board of Education will held a Special Meeting on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 5 p.m. The minutes are provided below...

I. Call to Order - 5:01 p.m.

II. Roll Call - Coleman, Vaughn (by telephone), Brown, Stubblefield, Gooden, Burris. (McBride arrived at 5:06 p.m.)

III. Recognition and Comments from Employees and Public - None.

IV. Approval of Agenda - Special Meeting - Motion made, seconded, and passed.

V. Personnel - Skipped until after closed session.

VI. Closed Session - The BOE voted to enter closed session at 5:03 p.m. The BOE voted to exit closed session at 6:44 p.m.

VII. Requiring Action/Decisions By Board of Education

  1. Address Any Action Deemed Necessary By Board On Matters Considered in Executive Session

  2. Other

      A. Kevin Bohnert - Study Skills Teacher - Motion made, seconded, and passed to hire "pending approval by the FOP."

      B. Ratify E.S.P. Contract - Motion made, seconded, and passed.

      C. Loretta Woodson - Custodian - Motion made, seconded, and passed to terminate employment.

      D. LaVern Bartlett - Secretary - Skipped without comment.

VIII. Adjourn - Motion made, seconded, and passed to adjourn at 6:46 p.m.
