CAT Tracks for February 11, 2010
A KISS FROM AFAR |
Like a CAT on a Hot Tin Roof...
...that's how I feel approaching the topic of this post.
In past editions of CAT Tracks, I have been known to offer catty commentary concerning the absence of CSD #1's illustrious leader...only to receive terse e-mails from CATs to "Leave well enough alone!" I have been reminded that it is a major no-no to look a gift horse in the mouth.
However, my most recent posts have indicated a dedication to tailoring the content of these pages to the wishes and desires of active CATs rather than my own personal meowsings.
Therefore...
DISCLAIMER: This posting is in response to a "heads up" from a CAT...another unsolicited e-mail to my cyber-mailbox.
There exist those CATs who are more than willing to join a celebration, but who are unable to repress their inquisitive natures...despite the dire warnings of what shall befall the curious among them.
When these CATs walk into a room of frolicking felines, their spontaneous queries of "WHY?" are in no way intended to put a damper on the party.
It's just that the sight of "Happy CATs" - in this day and age of NCLB and RttT and SIP - is so unusual, well, they cannot help but wonder...from whence such blessed feelings did spring!
So, good CATs...do not cast stones at this poor messenger. The purpose of this missive is strictly "FYI". It is NOT intended to cause a prodigal Superintendent to return.
Reproduced below you will find a page from the detailed daily conference schedule of the NCLB 2010 Annual Statewide Conference being held this week at the Sheration Chicago Hotel & Tower in Chicago, Illinois...
