CAT Tracks for July 13, 2009
GOODBYE...HELLO |
EDITOR'S NOTE: Below is the "Final Posting" on geocities.com/cattracks.geo/.
Obviously parts of it do not apply since you have already arrived at our new address.
However, for the sake of transition...
It took two weeks, but the deed is done...
The move from geocities.com/cattracks.geo to cairoassociationofteachers.com is complete.
Sent the following e-mail to subscribers last night...
From: Ron Newell
Just made my twice daily check of the new website address, expecting to be disappointed once more.
In fact, I was planning on writing a nasty e-mail tomorrow...that they had NOT responded to my last e-mail.
VOILA!
It's there...and after checking, so is the old one.
So, it's probably a work in progress...but at least it looks like the new site will be a go!
The address is as advertised:
http://cairoassociationofteachers.com/
I doubt that I will publish anything tomorrow...until I hear some official word from the gurus. Don't want to take a chance on messing something up.
But...SOON!
Thank you for your patience...
Ron Newell
So, this is the final posting at this location.
Click on our new address link and update your bookmarks/favorites. That's it!
Only thing left for us Curious CATs to do now is to keep our eyes on "The Cottage". Although Cairo Superintendent of Schools Leotis D. Swopes was to have vacated the premises and moved to Cairo by July 1, 2009, his car was still safely nestled in the cottage's carport on Sunday evening.
Maybe the Superintendent is also waiting on Yahoo...
(Bite my catty tongue! I won't, I won't...)
Speaking of which...the Cairo Board of Education will hold its regular monthy meeting this Thursday at 6 p.m.
The catty comments shall continue at http://cairoassociationofteachers.com/.
C Ya!
