There was one individual on Topix.com that took offense to the Cairo Chapter of the National Beta Club performing clean-up activities at St. Mary's Park and the Ohio River Levee....that it was setting a bad example of cleaning up other people's messes.

Guess "informed" will freak out over the article below!

I mean...255 young people from across the United States and Canada coming to Cairo next week to lend a helping hand?! Probably part of that Obama Socialist Movement that we hear so much about!

Personally, I don't have anything against Cairo folks (of any age) or "Outsiders" or a Wild Hare rolling up their sleeves and cleaning up my home town. It sure the hell needs it!

My only thought (and there may be a very good explanation to which I am not privy)...why the heck do the kids have to camp out at Century School?
