One thing I'll say, they're getting their 15 minutes of fame...and then some!

Drove by the "Shotgun House" a couple of hours ago. There was a tent set up in the yard, so maybe their keys went cruising also...

Just kidding...a lame joke following my posts yesterday about the lame excuse the Mayor of Cairo gave for not letting Team Illinois members into the Tollhouse...the Tollhouse that Team Illinois paid to renovate.

No...the Shotgun House was open and available for your viewing pleasure. The tent provided shelter for refreshments.

Have to admit that I didn't stop and visit. I grew up in a Cairo shotgun house, so been there, done that. (Actually, my childhood home no longer qualifies as it was modified over the years. I checked it out yesterday...stood a various angles in the front and could not see daylight in the back...although a couple of blasts from a 12-gauge would probably fix that!)

I'm sure the publicity will continue with next week's Citizen...maybe in "Living Color"!
