ANOTHER CAIRO FIRE |
This one didn't merit much of an article...maybe because it was the second time that it burned. If you want more, there are pictures and video on the KFVS website.
From the KFVS TV Channel 12...
House fire in Cairo
CAIRO, IL (KFVS) - Firefighters fought a house fire in the 500 block of 21st Street in Cairo, according to the Alexander County Sheriff's Department.
Crews were called out at 3:50 p.m.
Fire Chief John Meyer says this is the second time this property has burned. He says it first burned in the Fall of 2010.
Meyer is calling this a suspicious fire, says now there are people of interest.
The homeowner says he did have plans to remodel, but will now have to start over.
