Since I borrowed my defense for my comments concerning Republican Candidate for Illinois Governor Bill Brady from Republican Icon Ronald Reagan, I guess another of his oft used phrases during the presidential debates would be appropriate...
"Oh, but no!"
My "Speak of the Devil" title to this post is NOT a reference to Bill Brady!!! Been down that forked path before...trying to walk the straight and narrow.
No...
The "Speak of the Devil" reference concerns the man who spoke up for Bill Brady in yesterday's ill-fated press conference...New Jersey Governor Chris Christie!
And, just to be purrfectly clear...
I am NOT saying that Governor Christie is the Devil. I'm just saying...what a coincidence!
Never even heard of Chris Christie until this morning when I posted the article about his appearance in support of Bill Brady. Then, a few hours later, my monthly edition of the AARP Bulletin arrives in the U.S. Mail, I flip open the cover, and the lead article is about his "Great State" of New Jersey.
Hmmm...could it be "a sign"?
Regardless...
Before you even think of voting for Bill Brady (man of God though he may be), see what AARP has to say about New Jersey's machinations with public pensions...

BTW...You "kittens" out there! The article makes reference to "older Americans" and "older workers". Unless you plan on dying soon...you will be one of those...hoping to retire...THINK ABOUT IT!
