GOD FORBID

Just one of those headlines that caught my roaming eye...

As a lapsed Catholic, I was wondering what was so news-worthy of letting an ailing Bishop retire.

Will states raise the retirement age of teachers to 75?

Will teachers have to get dispensation from the Pope Governor to retire early?

Speaking of being a lapsed Catholic...

I attended "Sunday Mass" last Saturday afternoon (4 p.m.) at St. Patrick's Church in Cairo on the occasion of my mother's 95 birthday party (held next door to the downstairs chapel.)

All I can report...

St. Pat's?
