CAT Tracks for July 16, 2010
BEFORE & AFTER

They say..."What a difference a day makes."

Well, this time it was only a matter of a couple of hours...

BEFORE:

When we arrived at the Central Office for last night's 6 p.m. BOE meeting, Madam President handed me a copy of the supplemental CSD #1 Open Accounts Payable List - i.e. the monthly bills.

Of course, "past practice" caused me to immediately flip to the "R's"...for any billing submitted by ROBBINS SCHWARTZ NICHOLAS. For once, I really wasn't expecting to see any (after two consecutive months of $12,000 bills in the on-going battle against the employment of James Gibson). I mean...nothing was going on, except the waiting for the IELRB decision on the District's appeal of the original verdict in favor of James Gibson.

Here is what I found when I arrived at Page 3...

Three little words flashed through my mind, and it wasn't "I Love You"

CAT Tracks' self-imposed PG rating prevents me from relating the words. (HINT: The appropriate acronym is WTF!)

My mind immediately began composing a suitable rant, catty commentary designed to heighten emotion!

While silently fuming, I did recall that one of the attorneys DID make a 40-minute appearance at the June 22nd Special BOE Meeting, driving approximately 150 miles each way to attend.

But...$9,858?!

Uh, bears repeating...

WTF!

While sitting in the audience, my fingers did itch...

AFTER:

When the BOE exited closed session and voted to hire James Gibson as Junior High School Science Teacher, well...

Who cares?!

War is over; give peace a chance...
