One Suspect Arrested in Deadly Cairo Shooting
By Lauren Keith
CAIRO, IL (KFVS) - Cairo police have one man in custody in connection with Thursday's deadly shooting outside of a bar.
Police say 28 year old Melvin Hadley is now in the Tri-county Detention Center awaiting formal charges. No word if police are looking for more suspects or any details on how officers tracked Hadley down.
19 year old Jeserick Pilgram of Mounds was killed in the shooting outside Mary J's club early Thursday morning. Thirty year old Tyron Watson of Cairo was shot in the leg and is recovering.
Police say they believe the victims knew each other and something outside the club led to the shooting.
