CAT Tracks for September 27, 2010 LIVE...FROM "EDUCATION NATION"

Well, okay, that was the plan...

However, as they say...the best laid plans of CATs and men.

Received real-time reports from two teachers last night who inflicted pain upon themselves by watching the first evening of NBC's "Education Nation". In response to their initial e-mails, I let them know that since I had vowed NOT to watch the program, that I would combine their reports and post them as the "debriefing".

Shortly thereafter, one of the "volunteer watchers" advised that my plan might not be the best of ideas.

Rats!

However...

I can be somewhat hard headed (lovingly described by my dearly departed as "Stubborn as a Newell"...to rhyme with mule.)

So...

No to be deterred from my moment of brilliant inspiration, I ventured forth with my plan!

But...

What proved to be an insurmountable obstacle did arise.

In keeping with CAT Tracks self-enforced PG rating, I was forced to blacken out the expletives. When I completed that task, the end result was one of those scenes out of a TV show or movie where some citizen has requested a document from the federal government and the end result is indecipherable once everything the feds consider classified information has been deleted.

Therefore...

If you want a report on last night's flogging of public education and public school teachers, you will have to wait until Valerie or Diane or Deborah puts it in words suitable to print!
