CAT's MAGNIFICENT SEVEN |
Ran across this old photo while I was dusting today...
...the CAT bargaining team from our wild, wild west days, when we were young guns ready to ride into the most dangerous of negotiations.
Those were the days my friends. Indeed, we thought they'd never end...
BTW:
Back in those days, bargaining was, well, "man's work". So, if you have difficulty identifying Ledora, Ruth, Penny, Deborah, or De De...just goes to show how good their disguises were!
Actually, old (bad) habits die hard...
Madam President came close to roping and hog-tying the Board's negotiator during the last round of negotiations. Casting aside her disguise, De De came to the sessions "as is"...ready to rumble. Well, the Board's negotiator chose to address most of his statements and questions to either me or the (male) IEA UniServ Director...ignoring Madam President and the other females on the CAT team.
Unbeknownst to the Board's negotiator, the tensions did rise. Finally, Madam President had had all she could stand...she couldn't stand no more. An old-fashioned shoot-out at the (not-so) O.K. Boardroom did ensue.
I'll spare you the details, but, suffice it to say, from that moment on...Madam President received her due!
