CAT Tracks for July 21, 2011 CSD #1 TAILGATE PARTY

As we await the kickoff of tonight's Board of Education meeting...

...another sign that 2011-2012 is shaping up as another "very good year" for Cairo School District Number One!

Another $330,610...

...compared to $280,000 for Meridian and $244,174 for Egyptian.

CAT Tracks Editor's Note:

Will have to admit that being a former math person, the numbers spoke to me...made me wonder why Meridian "made out like a bandit". Serving half the students that Cairo serves, one would "figure" that Meridian would get half the money that Cairo got...say $165,305.

Probably something to do with formulas...some of that mysterious math stuff.

Bottom line: Meridian may be going to have an EXCELLENT year, but, for Cairo, it's still shaping up as "a very good year"...

...and, hey, it "sings" better!
