In yesterday's edition of CAT Tracks, we saw a mother crane willing to share her largess with her chubby child, both resting comfortably...on "Top of the World!"

Contrary to stereotype...

...of northern mothers being as cold as the weather (or certain anatomical features of witches)...

...and southern mothers being gracious and hospitable, warm and cuddly toward their offspring.

Unlike the crane on the north side of the building, mama crane on the south side relegates her child to ground level while she basks in her glory...Queen of the Hill.
