CAT Tracks for August 22, 2011 INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT CONTRACT AGREEMENT

Below is the rough draft of the proposed contract for Leotis Swopes. It was approved by the Cairo Board of Education at its regular meeting last Thursday, August 18th and approved by the Cairo Financial Oversight Panel (with minor language changes) at its regular meeting tonight, August 22nd.

I did take the liberty of "erasing" the home address of Leotis Swopes. I don't put out personal telephone numbers or addresses.

All contracts entered into by a school district are a matter of public record and can be acquired by anyone who makes a "FOIA Request"...a request for such documents under the Freedom of Information Act.

As I have said before...

...whenever possible, I like to "verify" my assertions/accusations since there remain "Doubting Thomases" who are skeptical of what they read on CAT Tracks.
